Anni Macht Gibson, Creative WritingAnni Macht Gibson is a poet who currently splits her time between Cincinnati, OH and Traverse City, Michigan. Ms. Gibson is a certified and licensed teacher and creative writing facilitator of the Women Writing for (a) Change process, having graduated from the WWf(a)C Feminist Leadership Academy Training in 2006.

Ms. Gibson has been involved with creative writing as long as she can remember, but became a poet, in earnest, when she retired as a marketing manager in 2001 after 24 years at Procter and Gamble. She has an B.A. from Goucher College in Comparative Religions and an M.Ed. from Xavier University (Cincinnati).

Her first collection of poems, Unfinished, was published in May, 2007 by Woven Word Press. She has also been published on Cincychic.com, in Inspired Mother Magazine, on ecumininet.com, in Westview, Sanskrit, and For Want of a Better World. Work is forthcoming in Cape Rock, the literary journal of Southeast Missouri State University. She has been married to her husband, Jeremy, for 25 years and has two children in college. When not creative writing, teaching or spending time with family, she relaxes by knitting for a Prayer Shawl ministry and romping with her Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Erin and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Sophie.
