Our Compliance Coordinator, Cindy, stepped out of the office
and into the kitchen
for a few hours, volunteering to cook up a good time with our students.
Students rolled up their sleeves and got to work, learning how to make ricotta gnocchi with a lemon
sage brown butter sauce from scratch. Complimenting the entr茅e was a fresh salad
with toppings provided from the student gardens ![]()
Their hard work from farm to kitchen came full circle when students got to taste their homemade food. Fun and full bellies were had by all.
We're grateful to and for providing partial funding of this experience through the PA Harvest of the Month grant as well as for their funding of our school's gardens that are providing fresh produce for fresh experiences in the kitchen.![]()
