Welcome to Creative Writing for Women Up North ... in
Michigan
Welcome to Women Writing for (a) Change Up North, a
licensee of the
Women Writing for (a) Change creative writing program, started in
Cincinnati, Oh in 1991. WWf(a)C Up North currently offers creative writing
classes and retreats which support the creative writing lives of women. We
provide a safe and supportive space for women who want to explore their
creative writing voices. Women are encouraged to tell their stories in
whatever written form they wish to pursue: fiction, poetry, journal
writing, essay or drama. Emphasis is given to authentic voice and writing
in community. WWf(a)C participants practice respectful listening and
careful feedback to create a non-competitive and non-judgmental atmosphere
in which creativity can blossom.
